The Citroën DS made its debut in 1955 and caught people’s attention with its innovative structure and style. Over 1,450,000 were sold up to 1975, becoming one of the better- known cars of the 20th century. Used as the official car for the President of France, it achieved the overall championship in 1966 global rallies. This is a limited-edition version of the Citroën DS . (Item 58734). It recreates the early-period model featuring two rounded headlights. Featuress a pre-painted body (Tamiya blue PS-4), cut out wheel arches and premade body mount holes that makes the body construction process simpler for beginner builders. Windows are tinted in Tamiya Smoke (PS-31). The PC body sits on top of the MB-01 chassis configured in the long wheelbase and front motor / front wheel drive (FF) configuration. The MB-01 Chassis is a compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis. Length: 419mm, width: 198mm, height: 137mm. Wheelbase: 239mm (Long wheelbase). As in the actual vehicle, the front tread is wider than the rear tread.
