This car featured an aerodynamic 2-door hardtop form with four seats and was powered by a 5-liter V8 engine which was capable of 231hp and provided a 225km/h top speed. This model kit builds the 1981 Mercedes Benz 500 SEC. Originally released in 1982, this re-issue comes with updated decals, instruction manual and packaging. Features realistic depictions of 5-liter V8 engine and interior. The interior has realistic renderings of details such as the instrument panel and seats. Updated decals recreate instrument panels, logos, patterns of wood panels and seat surfaces. The drive system, 4-wheel independent suspension, propeller shafts and chassis underside are faithfully depicted. The engine hood is removable.
